Recipe for Sake-steamed Mushrooms
Hello, everyone! Welcome to my blog. In this post, I am going to introduce a recipe for sake-steamed mushrooms. My aunt makes them. I added some sausages to mine, but I made everything else according to her recipe.
- Sake is a Japanese liquor.
- Low-sugar side dish
- It takes 15–20 minutes.
Ingredients (3~4 portions):
- Vegetable oil (3 teaspoons)
- Garlic (4 pieces)
- Bacon (70g)
- Shimeji mushrooms and King oyster mushrooms (500g)
- Salt (2/3 teaspoon)
- Sake/Japanese liquor (200cc)
- Ajinomoto/Seasoning
- Black pepper (a pinch)
- Butter (16g)
- Green onion (as much as you like)
Directions:
- On medium heat, stir-fry together the vegetable oil, garlic, and bacon until the edges of the bacon are crispy.
- Add and stir-fry all the mushrooms with the salt, seasoning, black pepper, and butter.
- Add sake and change medium heat to high heat.
- If the mushrooms glisten, sprinkle green onions.
- Done!!
