Food-Related Book

Hello, everyone! Weicome to my blog.

In class, we were told to find a food-related book. I chose this book called "The World Is Not for Sale: Farmers Against Junk Food." At first, I was interested in Japanese cuisine and wanted to find a book about it. I found one, but I soon became interested in how Japanese are made in America. Then I found this book. I read a little and thought it was interesting, so I decided to continue reading this book. I hope I enjoy it until the end.

Before reading the chapters, I checked the table of contents. The first part was about the protests of the authors against McDonald's. It was clear that they were against fast food. However, not everyone thinks so.

I found podcasts and videos about Russians protesting McDonald's and other fast food chains' closure in Russia. One of the videos was a 22-second clip of a man handcuffing himself to the doors of McDonald's.

Although the events were in Russia, I think fast food has become a part of a lot of people's lives and is difficult to remove.
